Boggy Creek Airboat Rides have become a very popular place to visit since 1994
when they first opened with small six passenger airboats. Many people have
learned a lot about the Everglades by taking trips with the Boggy Creek Airboat

In 1996 the Boggy Creek Airboat Rides opened their second location in the
Southport Park which is a former historic park that one of the United States
Presidents even visited at one point. That president was President Chester, in
1872 there was a ribbon cutting at the Southport Park before his trip on one of
the first steamers on the Kissimmee River. At the Southport Park, visitors
become a part of the "Natural World" which sits on 25 acres of wooded lakeside
RV Park. Fishermen and vacationers from all over the world and of all ages like
to visit this park to get the wildlife experience. This park has full hook up
sites available, laundry facilities, pavilions for company and family picnics,
horseshoes and volleyball, and bathroom and showers. The different airboat
tours they have are the Half Hour Airboat Tour, One Hour night Airboat Tour,
and a 45 Minute Private Tour. The restaurants and dining for the park and Boggy
Creek locations are The Port A Pit Bar B Que, Fat Boys BBQ, Romano's Macaroni
Grill, and Domino's Pizza.
"The Boggy Creek Airboat Rides are a blast to do while on vacation. Going on
this is an experience you will never forget. You get to see plenty of wildlife
along with take a thrilling ride on an airboat. Some of the wildlife that is
seen is a bald eagle, a raccoon, snail eggs, alligators, and many water birds.
The most thrilling out of this experience is the airboat. If you have never
been on an airboat this is a great chance to experience it. Make sure you hang
on to your hats and wear sunglasses even if it's not sunny. Also, make sure to
wear the ear muffs due to the loudness of the engine and fan of the airboat.
This is such a great experience most people have to do it twice and each time
is a completely different experience with a different route. After the airboat
ride there is an option to hold a baby alligator as well as learn some more
about conservation. "
