Gardens. Short description
about Busch Gardens Ride
- Gwazi
You will
find wooden coasters present
around because it does not
much more thrill concerned
in it. The Busch Gardens
Rides - Gwazi will always
make you feel sensation
about falling out. To start
with this ride, it has two
different rides, having
two different coasters with
it. It is feeling or eagerness,
which makes you feel to
come back again over it.
Well, this double coaster
makes a custom, to the wooden
coaster reaches it to some
other, new standard. It
is label under the mythic
lion having the head of
the tiger. There are no
higher rates for Busch
Gardens tickets.
You will observe one of
tiger side, at same time
other of the lion side.
Gwazi is over the side of
the lion and it has long
ropes or strings of twirls.
At same time, tiger side
will make you realize about
the feeling of bobsled.
Busch Gardens is a unique
theme park, that originally
started out in 1959 in the
tropical grounds of the
Anheuser-Busch brewery located
in Tampa, Florida.
It was free to those visiting
the brewery where on the
grounds, animal acts were
done for the enjoyment of
the employees and visitors.
Afterwards, they were able
to go into the adjoining
beer garden for free Busch
beer. Later the brewery
shut down and the company
began to turn its attention
to the development of its
landscaping, animals of
unusual origins and amusements
to bring people to the complex.
As it grew, the company
started charging fees to
enter, and added thrill
rides, especially roller
coasters, to encourage more
visitors.
There
are two ways of exploring
some of the animal and plains
located within the park
and both are exciting and
very enjoyable. The
Serengeti Express is a copy
of the steam trains that
traveled the country in
the late 1800s, and the
cars of this train are open,
so you can enjoy the full
sights, sounds and smells
of the park. The Skyride
transfers visitors between
the Crown Colony and Stanleyville.
Entering into the park,
the first themed area you
come to is the Morocco section.
the mystic sheiks of Morocco
brass and percussion ensemble
is located here, as well
as Sultan's sweets and Zagora
Cafe. Snacks and drinks
are always available here
any time during your visit.
A wooden roller coaster
called the Gwazi is here,
as it drops 90 feet at 50
miles an hour. Gwazi
Gliders have relocated here
and they are a small hang
glider ride that goes around.
Part of the original section
that opened in 59' is called
the bird gardens and holds
animal shows and exhibits,
with the educational bird
show being replaced, with
more mammals and shows.
Next the land of the dragons
area is for the children
with some of the more favorite
rides but for children.
This area replaced the dwarf
village, in 1995, where
the kids used to have great
fun.
The Congo area was refurbished
in 2006, and includes the
Kumba, a steel roller coaster
where you are seated and
contains 7 different inversions
making it a very thrilling
ride and one of the most
favorite. The Congo
River rapids opened in 1982
and still gives a great
water ride through simulated
rapids. Ubanga banga
bumper cars finishes up
the section where kids of
all ages love to bump into
each other from every conceivable
direction. Opening
last year, 2008, the Jungala
4 acre family exhibit gives
you up close and personal
views of animals, rope bridges
to cross and visit 3 tiers
of jungle life and a play
area of water for the kids.
This is where the Jungle
flyers ride is that has
3 different flight patterns
on a zip line and Wild Surge
a shot tower that flings
you over a waterfall.
The Tiger Trail gives you
a very close view of the
tigers as you walk through
and a glass turret to see
them in their enclosure
and is really exciting.
Then you enter the Timbuktu,
fashioned after the bazaars
of Africa, with the Phoenix
still here since 1984, and
the whole area was redone
in 2003. Timbuktu
theater was built with a
4-D theater, Cheetah Chase
wild mouse roller coaster
opened in 2004, Scorpion
is a roller coaster with
a vertical loop and Sandstorm
is an orbiter ride with
three arms and goes around.
Nairobi contains alligators
and crocodiles, with the
Curiosity Caverns showing
you mammals and reptiles.
The field station animal
nursery is here for helping
the injured or newborn animals
that were abandoned.
Myombe Reserve, the tropical
rainforest is home to the
western lowland gorillas
and common chimps.
Rhino Rally takes you off-road
on a safari and into a raging
river, that can be very
thrilling. The main
train station is located
here if you want to ride
to another section and view
the park from the comfort
and coolness of the train.
Crown Colony is the smallest
area with the Crown Colony
House serving casual and
fine dining menus, the Budweiser
Clydesdale Hamlet and the
skyride station. This
is the last year for the
colony which is becoming
part of the Egypt section
and a museum is being opened
to showcase pictures and
memorabilia from the park's
50 year history. In
Egypt, Bedouin tents, original
handicrafts and art make
this a unique marketplace,
with a replicated King Tut's
tomb and diggings.
But the real thrill in here
is the ride Montu which
is an inverted steel roller
coaster ride, that is a
150 feet. The animals
that you will see here include;
sugar gliders, gorillas,
chimps, giraffes, ibis,
addax, zebras, tamarins,
elands, gazelles, ostrich,
cranes, bongos, impalas,
bats, lizards, storks and
snakes.
Amusement Today contains
a list of what it considers
the top 50 roller coaster
rides in America today,
and 4 of those coasters
are in Busch Gardens, here
are their individual rankings:
Gwazi - 38, Sheikra- 13,
Kumba-7 and Montu-3.
So you can see that this
park has some of the best
coasters in the country
and will give you the thrill
ride of your life.
Other events include a music
series from January until
March; summer nights where
the park is open until 10
PM or midnight and shows
fireworks on the 4th of
July and great performers
for their shows. In
October, the park is infested
with Howl-O-Scream and its
wild ghosts and ghouls.
Always an adventure for
the entire family and a
really fantastic day for
all.
